I'm a PhD Student in Philosophy at the University of Reading (funded by the South, West & Wales Doctoral Training Partnership), supervised by Luke Elson (Reading) and Lee Walters (Southampton).
I did an MA in Philosophy at the Università della Svizzera Italiana (USI), supervised by Martine Nida-Rümelin (Fribourg), and an MA in Philosophy at the University of Parma. I did my BA in Philosophical and Educational Sciences at the University of Ferrara.
My research is mainly in metaphysics — especially personal persistence, and in particular Perdurantism — with related interests in ethics and epistemology. Much of my recent work concerns the Personite Problem and the mutual interaction between theories of persistence, moral responsibility, and value.
